Ziya Çakmak

I graduated in Computer Engineering from Süleyman Demirel University in 2015 and started my professional career the same year as a Junior PHP Developer.

Throughout my career I have worked in the PHP ecosystem on high-volume e-commerce systems, marketplace integrations, data-intensive backend applications and services that run warehouse and fulfillment operations.

At Tekrom Teknoloji (2015–2024) I moved up to Senior PHP Developer and led the backend team as Technical Lead for about three years; I was the first developer of ConnectProf, which serves more than 1,000 business customers. From 2024 to 2026 I worked at Kitapyurdu as a Senior Backend Developer on high-volume e-commerce and fulfillment systems.

  • As the first developer of ConnectProf, designed and built its backend architecture, data model and integration infrastructure from the ground up, keeping long-term technical ownership of the product.
  • Built end-to-end integrations between ERP/e-commerce systems and major marketplaces, covering product, category, pricing, inventory, orders, shipping, cancellations and returns for more than 1,000 business customers.
  • Designed and optimized data models, queries and synchronization workflows on MongoDB datasets exceeding 100 million records.

Personal project

ReklamGidiyor is a listing, store and ad space management platform for the outdoor advertising industry. Ad spaces are published as listings, managed through stores and shown on a map with their locations.

I built the platform end to end: the Laravel backend, the REST API shared by the web and mobile clients, and the mobile app developed with React Native (Expo). I also run its server and release process.
